Vancouver Film School is a respected arts school that provides training in several aspects of the entertainment industry, including animation, design, and film. Their classes are intensive, and students are able to complete their programs in one year. THE 2023 FUTURE SCHOLARSHIP
VFS’s new scholarship is valued at about $158,000 and allows students to receive their training in film, design, and more. Recipients of the scholarship will be able to attend the classes they desire from the VFS School of Film & Television, their School of Games & Creative Design, or their School of Animation.
Potential students must apply for this scholarship by January 15, 2023. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced a short while later on January 31, 2023.
Please note that potential students can apply from anywhere in the world, and the scholarship has to be applied toward programs at VFS. It is valid for any course that starts some time in the year 2023, and it is only available to a new applicant to the school.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP
There are two different pieces necessary to apply for the scholarship. First, applicants must complete the Official Scholarship Application. Then they must apply to attend the school itself. Both applications MUST be completed before someone is considered eligible for the scholarship.
For the Official Scholarship Application, applicants must provide things like a link to their portfolio, an audition video, and/or samples of work that apply to their chosen program. The school prefers methods of sharing like Google Drive or Dropbox to make the process easier. There are also some personal essay questions to answer to be considered for the scholarship. When the school has received your application for the scholarship, you will be contacted and introduced to the facility. There will also be possibilities for online classes explained to you, and, if you are coming from out of town, the idea of living in Vancouver will also be discussed.
