MSOPA OPEN HOUSE FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH
On January 12, 2023, from 6pm to 7:30pm, adults interested in acting can check out the free trial at MSOPA’s open house. There will be opportunities to test out some improvisation games and exercises for acting, as well as fun voice over sampling and even techniques for auditioning! Participants will also have a chance to meet some of the faculty at MSOPA, so they can ask questions about what it is like attending and get a feel for the people there. This is an invaluable opportunity for those who are unsure about whether or not they want to pursue acting school, or those who just want to be better prepared before becoming students.
This opportunity is also being extended to youth. On January 13, 2023, from 1pm to 2:30 pm, young folks can attend MSOPA’s free trial workshops, which also focus on things like improvisation, exercises for acting, and much more. This is a great way for youth to get their acting resumes started and will look excellent on future acting school applications.
Please note, there are no auditions needed to take part in these workshops, and COVID safety measures are being taken into consideration – masks are encouraged while taking part in MSOPA’s open house and free trial workshops.
