Three Primary Components
Here are the three primary components of the program at Randolph College:
– Dance: This includes jazz, ballet, and tap dancing. Students undergo an observation to gauge their skill level and are grouped accordingly.
– Acting: Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and lessons focusing on contemporary techniques. Randolph’s website lists “presence, reactivity, impulse, imagination, mind-body connection and…complicity as an ensemble” as some of the crucial skills students learn. Improvisation and movement are also be covered in training, as well as on-camera acting.
