Students who are accepted to Toronto Metropolitan University’s acting program will rest assured knowing they’re an ideal fit for the program after completing the thorough, four-part audition process that includes an online component (prospective students can submit their video via YouTube or Vimeo) with both poetic and contemporary monologues; a second-phase call-back; and invitations to two separate days of workshopping. Each of these components showcases applicants’ various skills and will give potential students a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the kind of work they can expect from the program. They’ll also have a chance to meet and collaborate with their future cohort. Even applicants who might not be accepted will walk away with valuable knowledge and skills.
